The Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake, a federally recognized Indian tribe (the “Tribe,” also “we” or “us”) operates and maintains this website (the “Site”) to facilitate certain governmental functions for Tribal members (including applications for government programs, applications for Tribal jobs, and address changes) and to provide information about the Tribe to the public. The Tribe provides no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the data on the Site.

These Terms of Use (the “Terms” or the “Agreement”) only apply to this Site; they do not apply to any other website, product, or service offered by the Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake, including consumer lending services. If you, the user (“you,” “your,” or the “user”) have questions about a product or service you may have obtained from a Tribally-owned entity, you should contact that entity directly. Inquiries or complaints sent to this Site that relate to the products or services offered by a Tribally-owned entity will not be answered.

Tribal Law; Disputes

This Site is operated from the Tribe’s sovereign jurisdiction in Upper Lake, California. By using the Site you are submitting to Tribal jurisdiction, and you agree that Tribal law governs your use of the Site.

Content Ownership

The content on this Site belongs to the Tribe and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. Your use of the Site is not a grant of any right or license to use any of the Tribe’s intellectual property.

Termination

If you do not consent to the submission to Tribal jurisdiction and Tribal law as outlined in these Terms then you should not use the Site. Use of the site constitutes consent to Tribal jurisdiction and Tribal law.

The Tribe may terminate your access to the Site at any time and for any reason, without prior notice.

Privacy

Please consult our Privacy Notice for a description of what information we collect from you and how we use it. The Privacy Notice is incorporated in these Terms by reference.

Account

To access some of the Site’s functionality you will need to register for an account. You should keep your account information, such as your password, confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens on or through your account, even if you have not authorized such activity.

Modification

We may modify these Terms at any time. You should review them regularly. At our option we may post a notice on the Site if these Terms have updated.
