LAKE COUNTY – The Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake Tribe is pleased to announce it has awarded a $2,500 grant to the Lake County Sheriff’s Foundation and was a sponsor of its second annual Black Tie Ball event.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Foundation was founded in 2015 to support services provided by the Sheriff’s office and to provide financial assistance to law enforcement agencies, employees and their immediate family members, as well as volunteers of law enforcement agencies within Lake County.

“We’re proud to support our law enforcement officers and this remarkable Foundation,” said Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake Chairwoman Sherry Treppa. “Our Tribe recognizes the great personal sacrifice law enforcement officers make in order to safeguard our communities, and we greatly value the Tribe’s relationship with the law enforcement community and local government.”
